Lola Dupré is a collage artist and illustrator. She was born in Algeria but spent her childhood in Paris and London.

Dupré creates surreal and fragmented images by methodically dissecting photo- graphs and transforming them into distorted and disfigured subjects. In a tedious process the artist spends hours cutting, piecing and affixing small bits of paper together in a mosaic-type manner. It takes 20 to 30 hours to build her collages, using only paper, scissors and glue.

Lola has lived and worked in Scotland, Switzerland, France, Portugal, Ireland and Spain.
