New Yorker photographer Phyllis Galembo has travelled the world documenting the costumes of indigenous people everywhere from the Caribbean to West Africa and Central America. Galembo has been featured in numerous exhibitions and shows all over the world and has also received countless awards for her work. Her book 'Maske' was just released this month (March 2016) and is available at Aperture.
